A tasty sounding event is happening Friday night at the Mandalay Bay with the CraftHaus Beer & BBQ Dinner taking place at the Border Grill. The event features Excutive Chef Mike Minor’s pairing of  CraftHaus beer with great BBQ as well as all the sides such as mac & cheese, baked beans, corn bread and potato salad. The Rockhouse inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian has announced a new happy hour which includes a $1 Pabst Blue Ribbon deal. Max Casino Is Closing

The leased casino at the Westin is closing finally after an announcement was made about it a year ago. The Max Casino as its been called is a nod to the Maxim resort which was formally on the site for many years. The current casino occupies a large space in the lobby of the hotel and, some machines have already been removed with closure expected by June 30th. The main bar at the Westin is also due to close for a remodel so it looks like the Westin is going to do a full remodel of the spaces.

The popular Strip side Serendipity 3 has closed at Caesar’s Palace with a new in house restaurant called Stripside Cafe & Bar to take over the space and reopen almost right away.
