Friday Show Pick: Legends In Concert

The first of our weekly picks for some of the best shows in Las Vegas begins with Legends In Concert the longest running tribute show in Las Vegas. At one time every major resort in town had its own tribute show but over the years they disappeared, yes there are still some in town but they are often tribute shows to one or a few performers not a wide range of performers.  The Legends In Concert show ran for many years at Harrah’s but more recently has been delighting fans at the Flamingo. The celebrity tribute artists rotate in or out but often include stars such as Rod Stewart, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Whitney Houston and of course Elvis because he is so closely tied to Las Vegas LV-Inside-Out-Friday-Show-Pickhistory. The show also often includes Celine Dion and Britney Spears celebrity tributes which are two performers you can see in perform in person in Las Vegas so i guess you can compare the Legends In Concert version to the real thing if you go to both shows. The celebrity tribute artists are the best of the best so definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a good show at a less expensive price than the headliner acts in town. Ticket prices are $49.95 for adults and $26.85 for children plus the usual fees and taxes and are available from Ticketmaster or the Flamingo with showtimes at 4 pm, 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm nightly and usual dark on Fridays.
