The above video from NBC's Today Show showcases the Neon Boneyard where classic neon Las Vegas signs are from mainly the 60s to 80s are housed. A minimum donation of $15 per person is required and you must contact the museum to arrange a tour.

"Imperial Palace" Auto Museum

On the fifth floor of the "Imperial Palace" is a long time Las Vegas fixture a car museum with 100 million in cars in a 125,000 square foot space. The museum officially called 'The Auto Collection' has classic cars on display including cars such as Aston Martins, Buggatis as well as cars such cars from celebrities such as Johnny Carson and WC Fields in the 250 cars on display which are rotated in an out often. A lot of the cars on display are also available for sale so if you hit big at the table here is one way to spend that money. If you don't have money to buy a car its still great fun exploring the museum and checking out the classic cars.

Pinball Hall Of Fame

Kids if you don't know what a pinball machine is Google them because many of your parents spent their quarters on them while trying to work the flippers hitting the metal ball to get a higher score; These machines were a video arcade staple and much like video arcades they are hard to find these days with the rise of in home video game systems. If you are older than forty or want to check out how your parents wasted their time then a trip to the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas might be worth a visit. The museum is free to walk around but if you want to try the games they run 25 to 75 cents per game so get those quarters ready. Hours for the museum are 11 am to 11 pm Sunday through Thursdays and they are open to midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.

‘Mob Attraction’ At the “Tropicana”

The attraction formally called the ‘Las Vegas Mob Experience’ has reopened after several months in which only 15,000 of the attractions 26,000 square feet was open because of financial issues with the former order. Now the attraction reopened March 1^st with a new name the ‘Mob Attraction Las Vegas’ and new upgraded special effects. The ‘Mob Attraction’ has special effects and authentic artifacts that tell the story of the Mob in Las Vegas with the stories of such mobsters at Ben Siegel better known as Bugsy and Meyer Lansky and Tony Spilotro. The attraction got pretty good reviews in the past and the only comments I got in the past was that the price was a little high. This exhibit is a long way from the new ‘Mob Museum’ in downtown Las Vegas which the city has opened it will be interesting to see how well this attraction does with the new competition. Now with the reopening of the interactive portion they have announced the entrance prices which are $25 for general admission with a $22 price for locals, seniors and military with a $15 price for children ages 6-11 with children under 5 free. The hours for this exhibit are from 10am to 9pm and its located inside the newly remodeled “Tropicana” resort at the south end of the Strip.

Classic Cartoon Exhibit At “Circus Circus”

The ‘Chuck Jones Experience’ had been rumored for years and it didn’t look like it would ever open but now finally it has opened at “Circus Circus.” The exhibit showcases the work of master animator Chuck Jones who is famous for lots of classic cartoons of the 40’s to 60’s which many call the Golden Years of animation. The exhibit lets you try your hand at making an animation as well as try interactive exhibits and get fully immersed in the world of animation. Lectures about the art and creation of animation are planned for kids and adults check out their website for more information on that. On display is never seen before collections of drawings, doodles and paintings as well as screenings of some of your favorite Chuck Jones animated films. Here at Las Vegas Inside Out we are big Chuck Jones fans so will brave the scary clown head to visit this exhibit also if you visit Las Vegas often annual passes are available.

Madame Tussaud's Museum

Madame Tussaud's  wax museum at the Venetian is the Las Vegas outpost of the famous Baker Street, London wax museum. The museum is just off the strip at the top of the moving walkways before you enter the Venetian. This location has over 100 lifelike wax figures on display of various famous people and, celebrities. As like most wax museums the people depicted change from time to time and, the museum also has interactive displays such as "Sing on American Idol." If you plan on visiting Madame Tussaud's most of the free guide books found in hotels and street racks have discount coupons for here so you might want to clip those. Another way to save is often they is someone standing opposite the box office and if you look at the board and then go to walk away they will hand you a discount coupon to get in. If you want to get away from the pool or gambling for a while a trip to Madame Tussaud's might be a good option. Regular admission prices are $25 for adults, $17 for students and $14 for children and the museum generally opens at 10am.

If you plan on visiting the popular Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum at the Venetian you might want to sign up for the The Venetian and The Palazzo slot card called Grazie. The Grazie card has several benefits but one nice one is the $8 off Madame Tussaud's admission price just for showing the card at the Madame Tussard's box office.
