Interesting New Slot Machine

Slot machine themes change all the time in Las Vegas as they companies are always looking for new ideas to get attention, well this new one with a cougar theme is one of the newest around town. We will have to check this machine out around town and see if cougars play this machine or only guys looking for cougars. This picture was taken at "Circus Circus" we would check it out there except we are scared of the big clown head on the property. This picture was posted to Twitpic by @vegascourtesan on Twitter so thanks to her for posting the picture she is also the Las Vegas Blogger of the year for 2010 by Las Vegas Weekly but as her name suggests the content is not safe for work.

"Sahara" Joint Mailing

I have just recieved a joint mailing from the now closed "Sahara" hotel and "Circus Circus" who they have an agreement with. Its strange to recieve the mailing which has both the "Sahara" and "Circus Circus" logos on it The mailing has a thank you and best wishes message from Arash Azarbazin the president of the former "Sahara Hotel and Casino" who talks about the "Circus Circus" players club and about the "Circus Circus" property. The rest of the mailing includes my room offer and things to do at "Circus Circus." I'm not a fan of the clown house apart from the really good steak house and as im now part of the "Circus Circus" mailings who knows i may endure the scary clown and screaming kids to stay there.

Cash In Those "Sahara" Chips Now

Now that the "Sahara" has closed if you want to cash in your old "Sahara" casino chips ot tickets instead of keeping them as a keep sake you still have some time left; Because of gaming regulations you have 120 days which is September 17th at 11:59pm for redemption of these. "Sahara" Reservations Switched To "Circus Circus"

The legendary "Sahara" hotel is due to close tomorrow and if you have a reservation after today it has been moved to the big clown property down the street "Circus Circus." The MGM owned property will honor the reservation with a compliementary upgrade to there west tower rooms. The rooms at the "Circus Circus" are of similar quality and the property is closer to other resorts so it should be okay for most customers. Its nice that the "Sahara" worked out with MGM to honor the reservations they could have just cancelled them.

For existing "Sahara" reservations call

Couple Of Days Of Strong Winds In Las Vegas

A few days this week Las Vegas had some strong winds and dust be blown around there was no major damage i was hoping the Circus Circus clown sign would blow away but alass it survivored. The sign above is by the door going out to the Mirage pool area because there is nothing worse than getting your drink umbrella blown away.

"New York New York" On A Stamp?

The United States Postal Service wanted to put the image of the Statue of Liberty on its new forever stamp which is patriotic but what does that have to do with Las Vegas? Well the image they used for the stamp was the face of the smaller replica of the Statue Of Liberty outside the New York New York hotel and casino in Las Vegas. This mistake is causing a bit of an uproar but i have no problem with it as long as they don't use the clown face from the Circus Circus sign im fine with it.

Blackjack Players Lower Limits Downtown & Off Strip

Fitzgerald's Front Last WeekFinding a low limit blackjack table on the strip can be near impossible at most strip casino's although they can be found during off hours or at some of the less expensive properties such as O Shea's, Casino Royale, Sahara, Circus Circus and Sahara often runs one or two low limit tables. A better bet for all the time is to head downtown or to one of the locals casinos. Fitzgerald's has signs up all the time saying they always have $2 blackjack tables and Fremont does the same with $3 minimum bets. Other casinos downtown that regularly have low limits include, Las Vegas Club, El Cortez and Four Queens to name just a few.

Quick Takes: Clowns & Strollers

Recently they removed a panel on the Circus Circus and people got excited that maybe the sign was leaving but they were just working on it. Circus Circus is fine big clown head is creepy sorry just my opinion; Okay as im offending clowns let me now offend parents and ask why bring you kids to Las Vegas? Is it because once they are adults you want them to learn how to gamble, drink or maybe one day hand out adult cards to vistors. Okay i can live with the kids i guess but tonight i saw 3 strollers with kids in at 1am on the strip okay rant over let the comments begin.
