Mc Carren Passengers Up

The number of passengers going through Mc Carren International Airport surged last year which was amazing in the tough economy. According to numbers released by the airport the number of passengers at the airport last year was 41.47 million which was the highest number is since 2008. The number is great news as in 2010 the number was below 40 million for its first time in six years and capicity will improve with the new terminal to open soon. 

Less People Flying To Las Vegas

McCarren International Airport has released traffic figures for May and, not really a surprise but the numbers are down. In May 3.5 million people used the airport which is down 11.5 percent from May 2008. The lower traffic is to be expected with the present economy but with airlines cutting flights and less people in general flying it may be a while before it picks up.
