NFR Practice Arena

The Plaza in downtown Las Vegas is hosting a practice arena and stalls for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo which are going on at the present time over at the Thomas & Mack Center for $10 million in prize money. Everyday between now and  December 16th from 9 am to 4 pm they have team roping practice with grade A and B steers. The owner of the ECHL franchise Las Vegas Wranglers has announced that the not return after failing to find a replacement home for the new season. For many years the minor league ice hockey team played at the Orleans Arena until in 2013 the owners Boyd Gaming announced they would no renew their lease after the 2013 to 2014 season.
