A new min residency has been announced and this one doesn’t even start this year its Sting at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace with shows to begin in May of next year. Mirage Tram Reopens

The tram that runs since 1993 between the Mirage and Treasure Island (now TI) is finally running again after it closed late last year after a short time reopening after a complete renovation; The tram was only open three weeks after the complete renovation of the system before a two ton steel wheel broke which forced the tram to be closed while a new part was fabricated and then installed. Sun Country Adding LV Flights

Minneapolis based Sun Country Airlines which eliminated first class seats not to long ago and relaunched itself as a low cost carrier has announced that they are adding more flights to Las Vegas starting September 5th; There will be thirteen new nonstop flights added per week to four cities which are St Louis, San Antonio, Redmond, Oregon and Providence, Rhode Island to what is now Sun County’s second hub after Minneapolis-St Paul which is their main hub. The one consistent thing in Las Vegas is that the city is always changing and one upcoming change is the announcement that Hyde at the Bellagio will close on July 6th. Hyde is the nightclub that has an amazing 10,000 square foot space with an amazing spot with views of the Bellagio fountains. Many people had been waiting for this Kaos, the new nightclub and day club has finally opened at the Palms with a 73,000 square foot day club and a 20,000 square foot nightclub. Ski Resort Extends Season

Most visitors to Las Vegas most likely don’t realize you can actually snow ski about an hour or so from Downtown Las Vegas on Mount Charleston. Mount Charlestown is beautiful to visit anytime of the year but if you want to get in some skiing  there still time as the Lee Canyon ski resort on Mount Charleston has announced that they are staying open until April 14th instead of closing yesterday as planned.
