Caesars Entertainment has announced that it has furloughed about 90 percent of its 64,000 employees due to the closures related to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Caesars has said it pay its employees for the first two weeks and, use any available paid time off they had after that. Caesars also announced they will cover 100 percent of the employees health insurance premiums for furloughed employees that are part of the company health plan through June 30th.

Furloughed employees means the employees can apply for unemployment and once the closures are over can resume work without being rehired.
