Its Electric Daisy Carnival time in Las Vegas again as the huge crowds head out this weekend to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for three nights of dancing and partying. One drawback of such a popular event is always getting from your hotel to the event and getting back again after everyone leaves; Well one company is offering a solution albeit an expensive one Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters is offering helicopter flights from McCarren International Airport to the Las Vegas Speedway and back again all three nights of EDC.
The price for a helicopter to the event isn’t inexpensive as you would expect with the price of $499 per person for each night of the event and, that includes limousine pickup and drop off after the event to your hotel. The companies seven seat helicopters will depart McCarren each night at 6 pm 6:30 pm as well as 7 pm and 7:30 pm with the flight to EDC taking about 12 minutes and although it sounds expensive i’m sure they will do well.

A new min residency has been announced and this one doesn’t even start this year its Sting at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace with shows to begin in May of next year. Sting has been quiet for a few years but he has a huge fan base with his work with Police and then years of solo work so it is a good choice for the Colosseum and i wouldn’t be surprised if his mini residency is expanded maybe in to a full residency. Tickets go on sale April 29th with five dates in May next year the 22nd, 23rd, 27th ad 29th and 30th then three dates in June and then seven in August and ending for now on September 2nd of 2020. Today is the opening of the NoMad pool which is located on the third floor of the new Park MGM with the Pool Restaurant serving a special all day brunch based on items at the NoMad restaurant downstairs. Apart from another new option for a resort on the Strip with a pool starting this Friday April 12th you also have a new day club option with this one called Jemaa which is the name of the main market square in Marrakech, Morocco which is a creative name for a day club. For the debut of Jemaa their will be three different Dj’s hosting for each of the first three days and good news for locals you can get in before noon for free with showing a Nevada ID.
Tip: If you are staying at the property and you like to take an afternoon nap like i do yes i’m old, then ask for a room away from the pool as live Dj’s and people partying doesn’t make for a restful nap.
