The much awaited Elia Beach Club is set to open today at the Virgin Las Vegas which is planed to be the centerpiece of the conversion of the property from the former Hard Rock to its new form as Virgin Las Vegas.
The rendering above shows the new pool area with cabana’s and, poolside loungers the new Elia Beach Club replaces what at one time was the most popular pool club Rehab at the former Hard Rock. The new pool area is themed after the largest beach in Mykonos, Greece and, looks beautiful in the renderings but we will have to wait and, see how popular it becomes.
I don’t think the new Elia Beach Club will ever bring back the craziness that was Rehab but that’s most likely a good thing. Either way many people had been looking forward to the opening of the Elia Beach Club and, with the big crowds in Las Vegas right now its likely to be be a busy place.
Virgin Las Vegas has announced that its Elia Beach Club will open Thursday June 1o th. The former Rehab Beach Club at the Hard Rock which became Virgin Las Vegas started the Spring Break club Sean in Las Vegas in 2004 with its huge wild parties often shown in a reality television series which i used to watch.
From the start the Virgin Las Vegas has touted the pool makeover as a centerpiece of its makeover from the former Hard Rock so it has a lot riding on its opening. The new club is styled after Mykonos largest beach in the country of Greece. Will the new Elia Beach Club become as popular as Rehab who knows but many people are waiting for its June 10th opening to check it out.
Last year the main pool at the Venetian was closed as it underwent a total remodel. Now it’s the turn of the TAO Beach Club at the Venetian which will remain closed all year and is scheduled to reopen in 2021.
The TAO Beach Club which opened in 20007 currently is 18,000 square feet and, the current space will be remodeled as well as expanded. The day club scene in Las Vegas is very competitive so updating as well as refreshing your product from time to time is vital.
The pool complex at the Palms will be closed this Summer as its remade as part of the ongoing remodel going on at the resort. If you go to the Palms website it discusses the Palms Place pool which is where Palms guests will have pool privileges until the construction has concluded. One effect of the construction at the Palms pool means most likely no “Ditch Friday” pool parties although there are now many other options around town for dayclub crowd.
