MGM have announced that the first restaurant from Hong Kong based hospitality company Lai Sun Dining called China Tang is coming to the former Pearl space at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. This is Lai Sun Dining’s first restaurant in the United States although the restaurant group has numerous restaurants across China and has received ten Michelin stars. China Tang will be in a good location at the MGM Grand across from Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak one of our favorite steakhouses and near the always popular Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House. The new restaurant will serve Cantonese cuisine with influences from provincial dishes across China from places such as Shanghai, Beijing and Sichuan. The MGM Grand has a collection of some of the top chefs and restaurants in the world, with the details releases so far this restaurant could do well, no opening date has been announced other than the opening has been planned for later this year.
