The use of personal drones has increased as more companies are making the aerial remote control camera platforms in numerous sizes but they are still an expensive item. A Las Vegas company AviSight has been given permission to commercially operate drones over the Strip which could be potentially lucrative for them even though no plans have been announced. I don’t know how I feel about drones flying over an area crowded with people but I can see commercial uses for the drones such as tourist and resort marketing videos as well as for movie productions.
