Long Running Zumanity Closes

The long running Cirque du Soleil production Zumanity at New York New York has announced that they will close for good after a 17 year run at the property.

Cirque which has struggled in recent times made the announcement after notifying its cast and crew. The show was first performed in September 2003 as an adults only show which was unusual.

If you hold a ticket for an upcoming show you will be offered a refund at your point of purchase. A 17 year run for a show in Las Vegas is amazing but in these troubled times many shows that might have continued in normal times will close. Shows with huge casts are especially vulnerable as it’s tough to cover costs in a limited capacity world.
