Las Vegas Sands has ended its business relationship with the Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group which will mean the closure of the three restaurants at its Las Vegas properties. The three restaurants are Carnevino Italian Steakhouse, B&B  Ristorante and Otto Enotoca e Pizzeria at the Venetian and Palazzo resorts with the loss of nearly 300 jobs.

The announcement follows the reports of sexual misconduct surrounding celebrity chef Mario Batali and follows a report on CBS’s “60 Minutes” concerning one alleged victim. Mario Batali is well known to Food Network viewers and was a co host of ABC’s “The Chew” until he left in December when some reports of his alleged behavior had surfaced. The closure date for the restaurants has been announced as July 27th so if you are a fan of any of these restaurants you still have a little time to visit and, so far Las Vegas Sands hasn’t announced replacements for these restaurants.
