MGM Resorts International has announced that they are restoring several of its resorts to 24 hour 7 day a week operations. The Mandalay Bay, Park MGM and the Mirage will now no longer close mid week but remain open full time.
The reopening is because visitor traffic is increasing as the COVID-19 case numbers are down as well as some people having more confidence with vaccines being distributed. International travel is a long way off from returning to Las Vegas this is most likely people driving in from Southern California and Arizona.
Even if its only a small increase by opening these resorts full time means MGM is able to bring back more of their employees which is a plus.
