The one thing always constant in Las Vegas resorts is that they are always changing, one such change is today as the twenty two year old Monte Carlo resort will be no more as its officially rebranded as the Park MGM.  The owners of the Monte Carlo,  MGM Resorts have made the change to rebrand the resort which is undergoing a $550  million dollar remodel in order to appeal to higher end customers.

The remodel is far from over and due to open by the end of the year is the 292 room boutique hotel inside the Park MGM called the NoMad Hotel as well as planned new restaurants.  I myself was never a huge fan of the Monte Carlo I was fine with it, but it was never on my must visit list when i visited Las Vegas but i know many people were fans of the Monte Carlo and will miss it.  One thing that the Monte Carlo did have was European style rules on roulette because of its theme where there was only zero and, no double zero although this is unlikely to continue.
