Las Vegas has always been a popular destination for people from Great Britain to visit and now with Norwegian Air adding flights to Las Vegas in October they have a new option to get Sin City. Norwegian Air Shuttle will begin service October 31st from London’s Gatwick Airport to Las Vegas with introductory rates at the price of $199 each way. The airline already has service to Las Vegas from Copenhagen and Stockholm with service to Oslo coming soon but the new London service should be really popular and shake up the two British carriers who current provide flights to the London area. British Airways currently has daily service between Las Vegas and its London hub of Heathrow Airport and Virgin Atlantic offers a non daily service to London’s other major airport Gatwick. Norwegian Air Service will use its new Boeing twin engined 787 Dreamliner’s on the service which are configured for 291 passengers with a not many frills service to keep the costs down. Traditional American airlines haven’t been too happy with Norwegian Air which uses crews from lower cost countries to keep the costs down and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has asked President Obama to block the company from operating to the United States. If the service doesn’t get stopped you will have lots more Brits coming to Las Vegas because of the $199 each way introductory fares.
