The above video shows the Pure Aloha Festival which returns to the Rio parking lot today and runs through the weekend showcases the best in Hawaiian food, shopping and music as well as carnival rides. If you are looking for something different and maybe a break from the casinos this might be an inexpensive option for you as general admission tickets are only $8 or $6 for children ages 5-10 or $5 for military with id. The event runs from 5 pm to midnight today and tomorrow and then noon to midnight Saturday and from noon to 10 pm on Sunday night. The Rio does have a free shuttle that runs between Bally’s and Harrah’s on the Strip to the property that runs from 10 am to 1am every 30 minutes or so although if you plan on using it you might want to take it earlier in the evening as it gets busy at night. The Rio is near the Strip and if you don’t have a car or are not planning on taking the shuttle, you could walk although its a bit of a hike across two on ramps to the Interstate a better option may be a short cab ride from the Strip. {Video courtesy of Vizzunent}
