If you want to check out the amazingly beautiful Red Rock Canyon conservation area near Las Vegas the entrance fee is due to rise starting February 20th. The new price to enter the thirteen mile scenic drive will more than double with the cost per carload going up to $15 from the current $7 with prices for motorcyclists going to $10 from $3. The BLM managed conservation area hasn’t raised prices since 2011 but is still well worth a visit even with the price increases. If you want to see the beauty Red Rock Canyon and it’s brightly colored rock formations it’s 20 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip and easily reached by you car or rental car.
