It looks like the last of Caesars Entertainments properties to remain closed the off Strip Rio will reopen Tuesday December 22nd at 10am.
When the Rio reopens the hotel will initially only accommodate guests Thursday to Monday although the casino will be open 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
The limited days for the hotel open seems to be the new norm for Strip properties as people from Southern California seem to be driving in on the weekends; but without conventions or people flying in during the week demand is light midweek.
The famous buffet with the current pandemic won’t be reopening anytime soon neither will its shows such as Penn and Teller. But better news is most of the bars, restaurants and the fitness club will reopen.
