Today is the day the Wet Republic day club returns to the MGM Grand in what could be its final season with that name. The reason why the name could change is that the former owner Angel Management Group was bought by Hakkasan which has a huge nightclub and restaurant at the MGM so they may want to use that name. The current Wet Republic day club will show off the 2nd of two phases of its remodel which includes 1,500 square foot of addition space and six new VIP bungalows with nice furniture, flat screen televisions and misting fan as well as three private plunge pools for the VIP guests. The 54,500 square foot day club also added new restrooms and shower facilities as well as an extended shaded area to get out of the hot Nevada sun. Wet Republic is open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 6pm and guests have to be 21 years or older, check out their website wetrepublic.com for ticket pricing and more information.
