Tomorrow if you haven’t already you might see lots of cowboy hats around town as the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo arrives in Las Vegas. The event brings big crowds to Las Vegas with last year 64,000 visitors coming to town and 171,000 attending ten sold out rodeo events.

The actual rodeo takes place nightly during the event at the Thomas & Mack Center but numerous other events happen all over town. It’s not the NFR that has the biggest prize purse its the World Series Of Team Roping which is sponsored by the South Point and takes place at its 4,400 seat indoor equestrian arena with a $14 million in prize money. The NFR itself has $10 million in prize money which is still not too shabby.
